As a star gains more and more mass, you’d think it would become brighter. Right? But the opposite is actually true. The more massive the star, the faster it burns its fuel supply, and the shorter its life. The biggest brightest stars are at danger for burning out the fastest and becoming black holes in our universe. See, we were made to shine! But if we burn ourselves out, the world doesn’t have our light … and the world desperately needs our light.
